HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 4

Requesting that the West Virginia
Division of Highways erect
and maintain appropriate
lighting on the New River
Gorge Bridge.
Whereas, The New River Gorge
Bridge is recognized as an
architectural wonder; and
Whereas, The New River Gorge
Bridge draws thousands of tourists
to West Virginia to view the bridge
and the gorge; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of
West Virginia:
That the West Virginia Division of Highways is hereby
requested to erect and maintain
appropriate bridge lights on the
New River Gorge Bridge; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the
Clerk of the House of Delegates is
hereby directed to forward a copy
of this resolution to the
Commissioner of the West Virginia
Division of Highways, the Secretary
of the West Virginia Department of
Transportation and the Governor of
West Virginia.
